The Year of 2012

Time flies, yet for another yearly post!

Started the year by joining FirstDay

At Firstday FEP where lovely friends would come down and visit

Joined Green Pastures concurrently to supervise these lovely kids

Went to USS to celebrate mell's birthday

Memorable emo/crazy/nonsense skype dates with evelyn

Had FirstDay team Brunch at Dempsey House

Pierced my navel (but took it out almost immediately)..

Received a white iPad ^.^

Got into NTU Economics

Stopped working and went for HSS, UOC and hall camps (crazy, I know)

Spent many major events with the Hall Family.
So very thankful for this bunch of people that made hall life and first semester so enjoyable.

CHANGE

I've learnt to become so thankful for everything around me. This year I lost my grandfather and it was the first time I've ever lost anybody around me. Losing people (albeit not just this loss) had the effect of making me cherish everything around me more.

However, it used to be more about waking up on Saturday morning for kidsREAD session to teach the less privileged kids english than about Friday party nights. I hope that in 2013 I'd remember to be the person I envisioned myself to be.

Time for mandatory new year's resolution.....

• Be physically stronger
• Start making & saving money (so inspired by people in university that don't take pocket money)
• Study hard & work on GPA
• Volunteer
• Travel to places I've never been before
